They are constructing a new cathedral in Belgrade. You can tour it while they are working on it. And, they have a chapel that is already finished on one side.

Piloting the ship

I went up to the wheel house when no one was around to ask the captain a few questions. The next thing I know he has me making course corrections, and he goes out and takes my picture. I steered for about 30 minutes, making 4 turns. It was a quiet, deep section of the Danube.

Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria

Iron Gates

Where the Carpathian and Dolomite mountain ranges meet. One of the narrowest and deepest sections of the Danube.

This was carved on the Romanian side of the Iron Gates section of the Danube.

They were holding some sports events in front of it on Sunday morning.

We barely made our connection in Paris. But, our luggage did not. We hope to get both pieces tonight.
