We cruised past Croatia but didn't dock there. From the river it was beautiful, will have to go back.

They are constructing a new cathedral in Belgrade. You can tour it while they are working on it. And, they have a chapel that is already finished on one side.

Piloting the ship

I went up to the wheel house when no one was around to ask the captain a few questions. The next thing I know he has me making course corrections, and he goes out and takes my picture. I steered for about 30 minutes, making 4 turns. It was a quiet, deep section of the Danube.

Spring in Atlanta

Sara and I have been skating (again) since November. We are competing in the Silver Pairs event at US Adult Figure Skating Championships (Adult Nationals) to be held in Lake Placid, NY from April 8-13.

We needed to send in a photo for the program, and this is what we came up with.
